Welcome to the WWA Fantasy Roster Rules and Regulations page. Here you will find out what exactly is going on during the contest, what the exact prizes are, and the application for registration. If you remember the old WWE Fantasy Salary Cap, you may faind alot of things the same, but there are a few changes, some more noticeable than others.
APPLICATION RULES
1. In order for anyone to apply for WWA Fantasy Roster, you will have to apply to the SMV20X6 Forum. As this is a beta contest, we cannot track all the actions of our great guests of the forum.
2. No one in any relations to WWA or ROW roster or staff, or in any relations to the SmartMarkVids Entertainment, may apply for WWA Fantasy Roster. This means if your related to, or ARE, Dameon Blood, you would not be allowed to apply. The same goes for staff members of WWA and ROW and the crew of SmartMarkVids Entertainment.
3. You can only apply ONCE for WWA Fantasy Roster. If you are found registering twice, or you register on multiple accounts, YOU WILL BE BANNED FROM THE CONTEST AND THE FORUM INDEFINITELY!
OVERVIEW
WWA Fantasy Roster tests your skills and knowledge of WWA wrestling. Each contestant puts together the best team of wrestlers (known as "Talents" in WWA Fantasy Roster) while staying at or under the limit of 10 Talents. These Talents are chosen as followed:
Headliners: Headliners are the champions or main event status Talent of WWA and ROW.
Regulars: Regulars are Talents who do not have a major part in any storyline or do not compete in storylined based matches.
Out-Of-Towner: Out-Of-Towners are the Talents WWA brings in, but not on a very regular basis. This includes, but not limited to, former television Talent, huge independent Talent, or Talent from various organizations around the nation.
You will accumulate points based on your Talents' performance each week. If your WWA Talent is not performing - dump 'em! All Talent can be dropped and replaced each week as long as you stay within the allowed limit. All Talent performing in WWA Saturday Night, WWA Monday Night Massacre, and any huge WWA shows will be eligible.
The Contest is a game of SKILL. In order to win, you will need to demonstrate a good knowledge of WWA wrestlers and storylines. Your knowledge and judgment in selecting Talents and managing your roster will determine your success in the Contest. Because this is a game of skill, the use of automatic devices, computer programs, algorithms, or any other means of selecting teams or making moves that do not rely on the player's knowledge and judgment is forbidden. The Contest may not be used for any form of gambling.
PLAYING THE GAME
The Contest begins January 11, 2008, and ends after WWA Collision Course 4 on April 11, 2008 (the “Contest Period”). The Contest consists of 13 weekly periods (each, a “Contest Week”), each of which starts on Saturday at 7 PM CST and ends at 11:59 PM CST on Friday of each week of the Contest. All WWA events (WWA Saturday Night, Monday Night Massacre and huge WWA events taking place between Monday through Sunday) will be included in that Contest Week’s scoring. Any events taking place before January 11, 2008 or after April 11, 2008 do NOT count in this Contest.
Each contestant will be limit to 10 WWA Talents may choose, allowing all contestants to choose 3 "Headliners", 5 "Regualrs", and 2 "Out-Of-Towners". The status of each Superstar is available at the page where you select your teams for the contest week. A contestant is not required to use all the spaces for their roster, but spaces not used will be locked at the end of the contest week and will not be carried over into future contest weeks. You must choose from only WWA Talents listed for this Contest, and only those for the contest week; certain Talents may be excluded.
SMV20X6 has the right to reject any team name for any reason, in its sole discretion. You may not select a team name that violates or infringes the trademark, copyright, or any other tangible or intangible property right of any other person.

Scoring is based only on WWA Saturday Night!, WWA Monday Night Massacre, and huge shows that take place during a Contest Week. Statistics for events that are postponed will be counted during the Contest Week the events are scheduled to happen.
SCORING DETAILS
Appearances-
+ A Talent will be awarded appearance points for each segment he/she appears on during the event.
+ A segment is defined as a discussion between Talent(s), to an announcer, or to the crowd.
+ Simply being in/around the ring constitutes an "appearance," unless a Talent is merely in the background in a non-creative role or is otherwise not part of any storyline. For example, if Horace the Bodygaurd is standing next to Lucious Valentine during a segment, both Horace and Valentine will receive appearance points. Simply being in the background in a non-creative role does not constitute an appearance. The Fantasy Board of Directors will make the final ruling on whether a Superstar receives appearance points.
+ Appearance points will be updated and available to players at least weekly. In most cases, points will be available the day after a WWA event. The timing of point postings and decisions about points are at the sole discretion of the Fantasy Board of Directors (see below).
Matches-
+ Matches are scored only when a Talent is ruled a competitor in a match. Any other Talent who appears during a match will earn appearance points, but will not earn match points.
+ Appearances by managers and others ringside will be scored as appearances, not matches.
+ In the event of a "no-decision" finish, the Talents who participated in the match will earn match points, but neither will be credited with a win.
Specialty Matches-
+ A Talent is awarded an additional 3 points for competing in a designated Specialty match (i.e. Steel Waterfall Match).
+ A Talent is awarded an additional 5 points for winning a designated Specialty match.
Eliminating an Opponent-
+ A Talent is awarded 2 points for eliminating an opponent in a match with elimination rules. Elimination matches include (but are not limited to) Battle Royals, Gauntlet, and DeathMate matches.
Finishing Move (Executed/Locked-in)-
+ A Talent is awarded 1 point any time he executes/locks-in his finishing move.
+ Each Talent's finishing move will be located in the board "WWA Fantasy Roster - Finishers"
Finishing Move Victory-
+ A Talent is awarded 4 additional points when his finishing move directly leads to victory in a match (i.e. pinfall or submission).
Finishing Move Escape-
+ Each time a Talent escapes a pinning predicament directly after being hit with his opponent's Finishing Move, he is awarded 3 points.
+ Each time a Talent escapes a submission finisher, he is awarded 3 points.
+ Simply blocking a finishing move attempt (before it is executed/locked-in) does NOT constitute a Finishing Move Escape.
+ Finishing Move Escape points can only be awarded within the context of a match.
Main Event-
+ Each time a Talent competes in the main event of a show, he is awarded an additional 3 points.
+ Any other Superstar who appears during the final match will earn appearance points, but will not earn Final Match points.
Foreign Object Use-
+ A Talent will be awarded foreign object points each time he is successful in using a foreign object to inflict clear physical harm. Foreign objects include (but are not limited to) chairs, chains, bricks, 2x4s, car parts, powder, salt, or blood/liquid misted out from the Talent's mouth.
+ Simply swinging a chair or throwing an object without connecting does not count as foreign object use. The object must cause clear physical harm.
+ Objects that are considered part of the ring area, in most cases, will not earn foreign object points.
+ Objects that are considered part of a stipulation match (i.e. a ladder in a Ladder Match), in most cases, will not earn foreign object points.
+ A complete breakdown of foreign objects will be in the board "WWA Fantasy Roster - Weapon Breakdown".
Disqualification (DQ)-
+ An official disqualification from a match, regardless of the cause, will result in a deduction of 4 points.
Suspension-
+ An official suspension results in a deduction of 10 points.
+ A Superstar may still receive points (appearance points, etc.) while officially on suspension.
MODIFYING ROSTER
As mentioned beforehand, all contestants are allowed to choose a maximum of 10 Talents; 3 "Headliners", 5 "Regulars", and 2 "Out-Of-Towners". You may make your roster choices for the next contest week as soon as the current WWA show has begun. Throughout the week, you may make changes to said Talents as long as you stay with the limits. The deadline to make changes will be at 2 P.M. CST before the upcoimng show. This means that you can choose your Monday Night Massacre roster by 2 P.M. before the show. Of course, you will be able to go ahead and make plans for future contest weeks until the deadline for said show.
*Before I continue, this is where WWE said people could join in on leagues. For season 1 with SMV20X6, we will not be allowing ANY leagues. We are sorry if you were looking forward to this, but right now we do not have said technology.*
SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS/TIEBREAKERS

process will continue by comparing the next prior Contest Week results for the Contest Period until a winner is determined.
Each winner will be notified by contact through the forum and/or e-mail. Each winner will be asked to be present at the April 18, 2008 edition of WWA Saturday Night! The Second Place Winner will receive a $50 Gift Card from Happy State Bank. This may seem bad, but this card is RELOADABLE, meaning this card is a a great way to keep some spending money in your pocket by adding money at ANY Happy State Bank location. And, it's a VISA, so that's always a plus!
The Third Place Winner will receive $25 in cold hard cash! Ok, not as intriguing as it sounds, right? Well, this is the special Happy State Bank "Texas Scratch Pad", consisting of crisp new $1 bills IN SEQUENTIAL ORDER! That means you can frame a couple of these bad boys and say you have the bill after that one!
The odds of winning, of course, depend on the number and skill level of the other contestants.
